Leaving home 3 Nov -11

They say nothing makes you appreciate what you have, like not having it around.

When I started planning this trip, it was all rainbows and sunshine. I saw the world in front of me, filled with adventure and new people to meet.
As the date of departure grew near, I started to notice how much I enjoyed Stockholm and Sweden. I realized how much I will miss not having my family and friends around, and how much I love the Swedish nature and climate (yes, I will miss the cloudy, rainy, 8degrees C Autumn-days).

How I will miss the competitive battles on the handball field, with the most amazing team of girls you'll ever meet. The small worried feeling that there will be no one at the matches to make sure they're all enough pumped , mad and on their toes to be able to kick some ass...

So it is with a little sadness, but great hope that I change my ways and leave the pavement road for the unknown path through the wild adventures that lies ahead.

If you turn you back on you home, its not really behind you, but in front of you. You just need to make that trip around the world to get back.
