Singapore 4 Nov -11

Arrived in Singapore at 06:00 determined to experience it to the fullest. After seeing this view from my hotel balcony, I was excited to get out there!

4 November -11                 The day of arrival

So, being determined to make my stay in Singapore, I made sure people new I had made it there safely, before I headed out for an initial exploration. I was not extremely tired, but unfortunately jet lag can also make you kind of... slow.
So I went for a short walk, before I remembered I had complementary breakfast at the hotel! And It was only 7-8 in the morning so shops and stuff were just opening up. I went back and had the most amazing breakfast ever! Unfortunately food makes me sleepy, so I went up to my room, and fell asleep on the thing closest to the door. Guess which one ;)

        

After all, it was good that a had some sleep, or I would pass out in the middle of what was going to be an amazing evening with an amazing person. :)

So, after exploring the hotel a little, I was off meeting Elizabeth. She had contacted me earlier when I wrote on a travelling community that I was coming from Sweden to see Singapore, and she had offered to show me around. :) So we met at the MRT (subway), took a walk around in the city, ate good food and had really interesting conversations. It was amazing. :)

Later on, back in the hotel, I was sitting by my computer, contemplating my plans for the next day, when I noticed an event on the very same page that I met Elizabeth on. In the last minute I asked if I could join, and got a response late that night, that I was most welcome...
